HISTORY OF HYALURONIC ACID
Discovered back in the mid-1930s, Hyaluronic Acid has been investigated as a drug delivery system and treatment in cancer, ophthalmology, arthrology, pneumology, rhinology, urology, aesthetic medicine. It wasn't until the 1990s to 2000s Hyaluronic acid was used in the skin for cosmetic purposes

THE SCIENCE BEHIND HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic acid, also known as hyaluronan, is a clear, gooey substance that is naturally produced by your body. The largest amounts of it are found in your skin, connective tissue and eyes. Great for bones and eyes. But also great for the skin. Its main function is to retain water to keep your tissues well lubricated and moist. Promotes healthier and more supple skin. Roughly half of the hyaluronic acid in your body is present in your skin, where it binds to water to help retain moisture.

BENEFITS OF DIFFERENT MOLECULAR WEIGHTS
With different molecular weight and particle sizes in hyaluronic acid, it creates a multi layer capability to penetrate the skin. The epidermis has multiple layers inside of it where only certain molecular weights of hyaluronic acid will allow moisturization for those certain layers.

HYALURONIC ACID COCKTAIL

Moisturization is such a major key component to any successful skincare/cosmetic products. Not only is there such an importance on moisturization in all layers of the skin, but also it contributes to one of the most crucial characteristics in a product, which is “feel”. Without the most optimal combination of different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, moisturization will not be permeated throughout the layers of the epidermis. The technology behind our hyaluronic acid cocktail has the capability to provide efficient long lasting moisturization effects due to a formula of variations of hyaluronic acids of different grades. This mixture allows for the most optimal moisturization in ALL layers of the skin without the hassle of formulation or creating/testing one alone.
